Progress Reports

Camden Elementary School teachers send home progress reports every three weeks to help keep parents better informed.  Therefore, we will not send home Interim Reports in the middle of the nine week period.

SunnyD Book Spree

How would you like to help our school earn free books?  We are starting a program by SunnyD that will let you do just that.  Its called SunnyD Book Spree, and the program will donate 20 books to each class that sends in at least 20 SunnyD UPC labels.  The program will also award hundreds of books to the 10 schools that collect the most labels.

Please help us get our books!

Save SunnyD UPC labels, and send them in to your child's classroom.  We will collect and mail them to the program for our free books.  Please also ask family and friends to collect labels, too - because once we have earned 20 books for our classrooms, we can start collecting for the big prizes.  Hundreds of new books in our school library would be wonderful!

For more information, go to SunnyD.com/bookspree.  You can even track our school's progress and see how many labels we have submitted.

Thanks in advance for helping all of our kids shine in school!

You can also help by asking your friends and family to vote for us, too!

Goodwin's Grapevine
It is the beginning of another school year.  This is always such an exciting time.  I enjoy seeing the new faces and getting back into the school routine.  We have been off to a busy start, and I'm sure we will have a year filled with endless learning opportunities.

I have the privilege of working with our school's improvement council that consists of a dynamic group of parents, teachers and community members,   We ensure that the SACS plan is followed and that the yearly activities are aligned with the school goals.  This year we have some new members and officers.

From the Principal

OUR FUTURE'S SO BRIGHT,
WE GOTTA WEAR SHADES!

I am so excited that we are off to such a wonderful start for the new school year.  Thank you to our students and staff for making this possible.  I also want to thank our parents for working with us through some new rules and safety procedures.  Dismissal is getting quicker each day, and will continue to do so.

I need to say a special thanks to our CEP/PTO.  They provided the funds for the covered walk way in the back of the building to our mobiles.  It looks great and will be wonderful for our students.  Also, they provided new t-shirts for our staff, a welcome back lunch, and $150.00 per teacher to spend on supplies for their class.  Every year, parents ask What does CEP/PTO do with the money we raise?  The above are a few wonderful examples.

This years fall fundraiser will be used to put Leveled Text Libraries in each teachers class.  Please come to our Code RED Reading Rally on September 9th   from 67pm. to learn more about this program and the ways it will benefit our students.
